Here are a few random, non-C&G-related news stories for a change of pace. These all brought me joy in the past few weeks and I hope some of them do the same for you.
- This horse refuses to take her medicine without a jelly donut — and it absolutely MUST be a fresh, room-temp jelly donut. She will not accept cream, sprinkles, or strawberry icing. #Respect
- “It’s like pen pals, but with snacks!” I have access to great chocolate, coffee, and gourmet popcorn shops here in Erie, Pa… just saying. #GirlSeekingFoodPenPal
- For fans of Anthony Bourdain, this 2-minute clip about how he became famous (which involved saying “No” a lot), provides inspiration for days.
- Fellow unapologetic crazy cat fans, I present the animated “History Of The World According To Cats.” All hail “Unsinkable Sam!” and you’re welcome.
- Dog lovers, don’t worry — I’ve got you. Here are “12 Heartwarming Dog Stories To get You Through The Week.” (I love you, Big Poppa.)
- Photography and ocean lovers, check out the Underwater Photographer of The Year 2021 shots. “Sunrise Mute Swan Feeding Underwater” and “The Cut” are my absolute favs.
- The Mars rover Perserverence was actually carrying a secret message. Hint: check out the parachute colors.
